long joins a very deep group of wide receivers in <strong>Detroit</strong> after stops in<br />
arizona, Kansas City and san francisco. His most productive season was in<br />
2009 as a member of the Chiefs when he played seven games and registered<br />
20 receptions for 178 yards.<br />
‣ long made his regular season debut in Week 1 of 2009 as an arizona<br />
Cardinal.<br />
2011: spent offseason and preseason with 49ers before being released<br />
september 3.<br />
2010: spent six weeks with Jaguar’s practice squad before being released<br />
(11/2) and signing with san francisco’s practice squad (11/8) where he<br />
finished the season.<br />
2009: Played in seven games with the Kansas City Chiefs and pulled in<br />
20 receptions for 178 yards. He also had six kickoff returns for 106 yards.<br />
‣ spent the offseason with arizona and made his debut as a Cardinal in<br />
the season-opener against san francisco (9/13).<br />
‣ released by arizona (9/14) and signed to Kansas City’s practice<br />
squad (9/16) where he was eventually promoted to the Chiefs active<br />

46 career receptions for 321 yards and 1 touchdown in three seasons with<br />
the Bulldogs. also had a punt return for 4 yards, 8 kickoff returns for 100<br />
yards, a fumble recovery and 15 special teams tackles.<br />
‣ as a senior in 2007, played in all 13 games (2 starts), recording 14<br />
catches for 103 yds.<br />
‣ Played in 12 games (4 starts) as a junior in 2006 and hauled in a careerhigh<br />
25 receptions for 177 yards and a touchdown.<br />

season and did not play in 2004 per NCaa rules.<br />
