2012 Nfl Draft.<br />
COLLEGE<br />
Had his most productive collegiate season as a senior, starting nine of 10<br />
games before missing the final two games of the season with an injury.<br />
Converted positions twice from sophomore to senior seasons. finished his<br />
career with 118 tackles, 10 sacks, and 20.5 tackles for loss.<br />
2011: Became a full-time starter at defensive end after spending previous<br />
season as a hybrid defensive end and linebacker.<br />
‣ Was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week after intercepting<br />
his second career pass and recording nine tackles vs. Texas a&M.<br />
‣ recorded 5.5 sacks and 13 tackles for loss on the season.<br />
2010: lewis shifted to a hybrid defensive end/linebacker position after having<br />
played primarily at linebacker his sophomore year.<br />
‣ Totaled 3.5 sacks and five tackles for loss, along with 37 total tackles.<br />
‣ started the final four games of the season.<br />
2009: as a sophomore lewis was tied for the team lead with 11 special<br />
team tackles.<br />
‣ Made his first start in the sun Bowl against stanford, finishing the game<br />
with six tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss and one forced fumble.<br />
PERSONAL<br />
attended Dewar High school in Dewar, okla. Unanimous first-Team oklahoma<br />
all-state team as a linebacker and running back. Was selected to<br />
participate in the esPN Under armor all-star Game.<br />
‣ Was highly recruited coming out of high school as a linebacker. Was<br />
rated the second best linebacker prospect by superPrep, the secondbest<br />
strong-side linebacker prospect by scout.com, the second-best<br />
player in oklahoma by rivals.com, the seventh-best outside linebacker<br />
recruit in the country by esPN and fourth best by rivals.com.<br />
‣ Transitioned from eight-man to 11-man football from high school<br />
to college.<br />
