‣ The game at Chicago (11/13) was Hanson’s 304th of his career passing<br />
Hall of fame Wr Jerry rice for fifth on the Nfl all-time career<br />
games list.<br />
‣ Kicked 7 PaTs in the lions 49-35 win vs. Carolina (11/20). He joins Hall<br />
of fame rB Doak Walker as the only players in team history to make<br />
7 PaTs in two different games.<br />
‣ He kicked 4 PaTs at oakland (12/18). The four points moved his career<br />
total to 2,001 making him the sixth player in Nfl history with 2,000<br />
career points.<br />
‣ Hanson became the first player in Nfl history to register 2,000 career<br />
points with one team.<br />

COLLEGE<br />
Considered one of the finest kicking specialists in the history of college<br />
football.<br />
‣ Made 57.1 percent of his field goal tries (20-of-35) from 50 yards-orlonger,<br />
setting Washington state and Pac 10 records.<br />
‣ His 20 field goals from 50 yards-or-longer set an NCaa mark, topping<br />
the previous career mark of 16 by Tony franklin of Texas a&M (38<br />
attempts, 1975-78), and his 39 collegiate field goals of 40 yards-orlonger<br />
surpassed russell erxleben of Texas’ NCaa career record of 32.<br />
‣ Holds the school record with 328 points, topping the old mark of 248<br />
points by steve Broussard (1986-89).<br />
‣ Kicked at least two field goals in a game 20 times, surpassing Kevin<br />
Butler of Georgia’s NCaa record (17, 1981-84).<br />
‣ Holds WsU’s all-time records with 63 field goals and 139 conversions.<br />
‣ all-american third-team selection by the Poor Man’s Guide to the Nfl<br />
Draft and football News as a senior in 1991.<br />
‣ all-Pac-10 first-team choice as a punter and second- team pick as a<br />
kicker his senior year.<br />
‣ led the team with 58 points his senior year and led the conference with<br />
55 punts for 2,245 yards (40.8 avg).<br />
‣ Kicked a 62-yard field goal that year, setting the record for the longest<br />
field goal without a tee in NCaa history.<br />
‣ set a conference record by making 7-of-9 field goals from 50 yards-orlonger<br />
in 1991 as well, one shy of the NCaa season mark.<br />
‣ GTe/CosiDa academic all-american pick who received a Bachelor of<br />
science degree in pre-med from Washington state, possessing a 3.8<br />
