TRANSACTIONS<br />
‣ Drafted by the <strong>Detroit</strong> lions in the sixth round (196th overall) of the<br />
2012 Nfl Draft.<br />
COLLEGE<br />
a transfer from Benedict College, Green began his career at New Mexico<br />
state as a sophomore, but was redshirted for the 2008 season. in his<br />
three-year career with the aggies, Green played in all 37 games and ended<br />
his career with 218 tackles, 32 pass break-ups and two interceptions.<br />
2011: Green recorded 70 tackles on the season and led the team with 14<br />
pass break-ups on the season, which ranked him second in the WaC. Green<br />
also grabbed two interceptions on the year, along with one forced fumble.<br />
‣ finished fifth on the team with 71 tackles (53 solo) and added five<br />
tackles for loss.<br />
‣ Tallied his first career interception against louisiana Tech and then<br />
grabbed his second in his final game as an aggie against Utah state.<br />
2010: Played in all 12 games, averaging 6.1 tackles per game, ranking<br />
18th in the WaC.<br />
‣ finished the season with 74 tackles, 46 solo tackles and eight<br />
broken-up passes.<br />
‣ Best game came against Boise state when Green totaled 11 total<br />
tackles, seven of them solo.<br />
2009: Played in all 13 games, finishing fourth on the team in tackles with<br />
74, one being a tackle for loss, and eight pass breakups.<br />
‣ recorded six or more tackles in eight games on the season.<br />
‣ Made at least four tackles in 10 games during the season and tallied<br />
seven tackles and a pass break-up in his first career start against UTeP.<br />
PERSONAL<br />
attended lakewood High school where he played both defensive back and<br />
running back. also played defensive back during his junior year and collected<br />
40 tackles and four interceptions on the season.<br />
‣ Green moved to running back for his senior year and rushed for 950<br />
yards and six touchdowns, also returning three kickoffs for touchdowns.<br />
‣ Green also ran track, qualifying for the state championships in the<br />
100-meter dash, the 4x100-meter relay and the 4x400-meter relay.<br />
