MANE FACTS<br />
‣ Growing up, fluellen was a big fan of DT Warren sapp and the Tampa<br />
Bay Buccaneers.<br />
‣ fluellen’s favorite actor of all time is the late Bernie Mac and he thinks<br />
Soul Man is the funniest movie he’s ever seen. He’s also a fan of The<br />
Bernie Mac Show.<br />
‣ one thing fluellen does not do prior to game time is listen to music because<br />
he feels that sometimes he can get overly hyped before the game.<br />
‣ fluellen has recently been getting into music and has a couple of<br />
programs in his homemade studio that consists of a TB and a keyboard.<br />
‣ During the offseason fluellen works on his marketing company that he<br />
recently started and hopes that when his career is over in 15 years or<br />
so it will be an easy carry over into the business world.<br />
‣ after his playing career, fluellen hopes to be some type of sportscaster<br />
or a news journalist writing sports stories. after being an english major<br />
in college, he’d like to apply that in some aspect to his career.<br />

PRO<br />
fluellen has progressed for the lions in his first four years with the club<br />
and emerged as a regular in the defensive line rotation, including time at<br />
both defensive end and defensive tackle positions.<br />
‣ Has played in 51 career games (5 starts).<br />
‣ Career defensive tallies include 46 tackles (28 solo), 2.5 sacks (23.5<br />
yards lost), 1 pass defense and 1 forced fumble<br />
2011: fourth-year back-up defensive tackle and contributor on special<br />

‣ Part of a defensive unit that helped the lions to a 27-20 against<br />

Closed out florida state career with 81 tackles (38 solo), 5.0 sacks, 18<br />

‣ Named to several preseason all-american and all-atlantic Coast<br />
Conference teams, in addition to earning a berth on the Bednarik award<br />
Watch list (nation’s top defensive player) before senior season in 2007.<br />
‣ as a junior in 2006, fluellen started 11-of-13 games at the nose guard<br />
position and two at the defensive tackle position and finished seventh<br />
on the team in tackles, and first among all defensive linemen, with a<br />
career-high 28 stops.<br />
‣ in first season as a regular on the defensive line in 2005, fluellen started<br />
12-of-13 games at the defensive tackle spot and tied for second on the<br />
team in tackles by a defensive lineman with 26 and his 7.5 tackles for<br />
loss ranked sixth on a florida state team that led the nation in that<br />
category with 126.<br />
‣ appeared in all 12 games as a redshirt freshman and finished the<br />
year with six tackles, including one for loss and two passes defensed.<br />
