‣ While growing up in florida, Delmas was huge fan of the Tampa Bay<br />
Buccaneers mainly because he enjoyed watching fullback Mike alstott<br />

COLLEGE<br />
Delmas started in 44 of 45 games at Western Michigan, 33 at free safety and<br />
11 at cornerback as he began his career as a left cornerback before moving<br />
inside to free safety as a sophomore. He became just the 14th player in<br />
school history to register 300 or more tackles in a career, finishing tied for<br />
eighth on that record list with 310 hits. He also appeared on special teams<br />
and saw brief action as a receiver in the 2008 Texas Bowl.<br />
‣ in 2008, Delmas led the Broncos with a career-high 111 tackles (61 solo)<br />
and earned all-american status for the first time. also had four interceptions,<br />
including one that he returned for a touchdown. His 111 tackles<br />
ranked sixth among the nation’s defensive backs during his final season.<br />
‣ all-american Dream Team choice by The Nfl Draft report, adding<br />
all-MaC first-team honors from the league’s coaches. earned MaC<br />
Defensive Player of the Week honors vs. Northern illinois and illinois.<br />
‣ in 2007, started nine of 10 games played in, recording 64 tackles (48<br />
solos), ranking fifth on the team. earned all-MaC second-team honors.<br />
‣ as a sophomore in 2006, started 11 games at free safety. finished third<br />
on the team with 53 tackles (39 solos), coming up with 0.5 stops for<br />
minus one yard. Caused and recovered a fumble, as he deflected five<br />
passes and intercepted four others for 52 yards in returns.<br />
‣ During his freshman season in 2005, started all 11 games at left cornerback.<br />
ranked third on the squad with 82 tackles (54 solos), the most<br />
by any first-year player in the MaC during 2005. also had 1.5 sacks for<br />
minus 7 yards among his four stops behind the line of scrimmage and<br />
recovered two fumbles and registered one safety.<br />
‣ freshman all-american second-team selection by College football<br />
News. added all-MaC second-team honors after deflecting a teamhigh<br />
eight passes and pacing the Broncos with three interceptions.<br />
PERSONAL<br />
attended North Miami Beach (fla.) High school, where he was teammates<br />
with fellow Western Michigan players Daniel Marks and e.J. Biggers.<br />
‣ Was voted his team’s best defensive back three straight seasons.<br />
‣ Broke school records for single game and career kickoff return yardage,<br />
as he collected 178 tackles with three interceptions on defense and<br />
had 61 receptions for 841 yards and seven touchdowns on offense.<br />
