Goodwill is a unique organization: People donate their gently used stuff to Goodwill, they sell it in their stores, and use
the money they raise to open doorways for local people who need jobs but lack job skills and opportunities. Goodwill
focuses on people in the greatest need who are ready to transform their lives – offering their participants “a hand up,
not a handout.” Last year, they helped more than 700 people find jobs, more than 4,000 people get ready to re-enter
the workforce, and hosted 37,000 visits to their One Stop Career Center.
An intern working at this organization will work in their office headquarters and will work with a large staff of
dedicated people and will have the opportunity to collaborate and work across multiple departments.
