Trainers included: Mr. Arben Murtezic (HJPC Secretariat), Mr. Andjelko Marijanovic (Disciplinary Prosecutor), Mr. Radoslav Marjanovic (JTC FBiH Assistant Director), Judge Aleksandra Martinovic (Constitutional Court FBiH), Mr. Ismet Trumic (Secretary of the FBiH Government), Mr. Enes Obralija, Izet Odobasic (Cantonal Misdemeanours Court Bihac) and Mr. Fadil Mujic (misdemeanours court judge). • On 25 September, a seminar was held in Sarajevo on Inheritance Procedure and Legislation on Inheritance. The seminar was attended by 32 participants from across FBiH. Along with trainers, judge Sida Jasarspahic (Court of BiH) and judge Jasminka Kubat (Municipal Court Zenica), and using interactive debates based on hypothetical approaches to practical examples, numerous issues were discussed, including procedural and substantive aspects of the Law on Inheritance and its application. With superb evaluation results in terms of quality of the seminar, a request was made to continue training activities with the same interactive approach. Determination and Transfer of Rights of Disposal of Property to Units of Local Self-governance’. In addition to judges, the seminar was attended by representatives of the Securities Commission and the Central Register of Securities of Republika Srpska. Workshop participants discussed provisions of the law and practical problems in registration courts related to entries of property transferred from units of local selfgovernance to companies. The issue of full implementation and creation of all the preconditions for implementation of the Law on Entry of Business Entities in the Court Register was raised again, and an appeal was sent to the authorities to provide measures for its full implementation and observance of the prescribed deadlines.

On 25 September, a seminar was held in Sarajevo on Land Registry Issues and Lien over Movable Property. 39 judges and court assistants attended the seminar, which considered issues of land registry reform, lien over movable property, and other issues of importance for judges working in this area. Presenters included judge Goran Salihovic (President of the Sarajevo Cantonal Court), lawyers, experts in economics and IT from GTZ/ CIDА/ АDА, Ms. Samira Leskovac and Ms. Jasmina Kurbasic. Mr. Milan Bajic and Ms. Azra Crnkic considered different aspects of reform and experiences in this area. Joint Activities of the Centres in the Period from July to September • 13-14 July, in collaboration with CIDA/CoE and the JTC RS, a seminar was held in Gracanica, on Train the Trainers – Justification of Judgements. The seminar included 13 participants. Topics included justification of judgements and rulings, requests based on the law – constitutional, international and general aspects, determination and assessment of facts and their presentation, justification of judgements with different outcomes and the burden of proof. Presenters included Professor Eduard Kuntisek from the University of Rijeka, Croatia and Dr. Horst Proetel, retired judge of the Higher Regional Court of Thueringer Oberlandesgericht-Jena. • On 4–8 July in Tuzla, 11-15 July in Teslic, 18-22 July in Bihac, and 25–29 July in Sarajevo, as part of joint activities in collaboration with JTC RS and HJPC, the Centre organised a series of seminars on Improving Management Capacities at First and Second Instance Courts. The outcome of the seminars, which included all the presidents of municipal and cantonal courts, is a set of training materials which will be available through a special link at the Centre’s web site. The materials will deal with topics of interest for the courts, such as case
