How Does Your Information Get
Into OutTouch?
If something looks cool and
seems like it is the tool of the year,
but is complicated to use, I know
from experience it will fail. The
makers of OutTouch know this as
well. So, the way OutTouch works
is through a web interface. Changing
the screen, setting up announcements,
swapping videos, etc., is as
simple as using one of those template
website services. You can even
set up announcements to stop rotating
into the display when the date
of the event has passed. This means
that an event for Saturday night
will not be displayed or promoted
on Sunday morning. No late nights
making changes to OutTouch!
Before you think you can’t afford
a cool touch screen service like OutTouch, be creative. Several churches using the service make a portion
of the screen available for rotating ads from local companies that have members attending their church.
Those companies pay a fee for that advertisement space, which can offset the cost of using OutTouch! It’s
just possible that those who understanding the importance of marketing to your members will help you provide
this valuable service for free!
