T-Mobile to Offer First Phone with Google
Android Software
T-Mobile will be the first wireless carrier to
offer a phone running Google’s Android software.
Android will offer many features similar to what
the iPhone offers, such as a touch screen and web
access. Most importantly, it will be the second
wireless phone to offer their users the ability to
download applications that have been provided by
third-party vendors. Android will offer many of the
same Google Internet applications, as well as use
Android to launch new services. Google mobile is
a fantastic utility for the iPhone 3G because of its
ability to know your location and provide search
results that are local. Google is a leader in computer
applications such as Google Doc’s and now hopes
