DISTRIBUTION
Global
Historically, the Pacific pocket mouse
occurred within about 3 km of the coast
of southern California, from Marina
Del Rey and El Segundo in Los
Angeles County south to the vicinity of
the Mexican border in San Diego
County. Within its range, the Pacific
pocket mouse has a much-localized
distribution on suitable habitat.
Regional
Currently, its only known localities
include one population at Dana Point,
California and populations on Camp
Pendleton.
