39 Spreadsheet Server for use with Lawson - Release V12 R5 M1 4.4 GXL Formula for Account Values Use the GXL formula to retrieve account balances in a specific format for a reporting period. Syntax: =GXL("Balance Type","Budget #","Key3","Year","Format","Period","Account Segment 1","Account Segment 2","Account Segment 3","Account Segment 4","Account Segment 5",...) Note: It is most common to use cell references within GXL formulas to identify parameters. Parameters: Balance Type Identifies the balance type. Valid types are A (Actual), AU (Actual Units), B (Budget), or BU (Budget Units). Budget # Identifies the budget number. This value is required if Balance Type is either B or BU. Key 3 Not used currently. Enter 0. Year Year identifier. Format Format options are: PER QTR YTD LTD RANGE Activity for the selected period Activity for the periods included in the selected quarter number Activity for periods 1 through the designated period number excluding the opening balance Activity for periods 1 through the designated period number including the opening balance Activity for a range of periods specified Period Corresponds to period, quarter number, or range of periods (i.e. 1.5 for periods 1 thru 5) for the specified format. Use the GXL <strong>for</strong>mula to retrieve account balances in a specific <strong>for</strong>mat <strong>for</strong> a reporting period.<br />
