Getting Started 16 3.3 Control Panel Overview The Spreadsheet Server Control Panel is a central panel from which multiple functions can be accessed. Some of these functions may also be accessed from the SServer menu within Excel. Below is a list and general description of the functions which can be initiated from the Control Panel. Function Description Refer to for more information Control Panel File Exit Cache View balances for a selected account or accounts, and subsequently drill down to the journals supporting the balances. Close the Control Panel. View Account Balances Control Panel - Cache Options View PC Cache View balances currently stored in the PC Cache file. Review/Refresh PC Cache Clear PC Cache Clear balances currently stored in the PC Cache file. Accounts Profile Identify accounts to which the user has authority to Account Security access. Segment Lists Add, modify, delete, and lock segment lists. Create/Maintain Segment Lists List Accounts Settings Help User Manual Register Sample DSN About Generate a list of existing accounts. Filtering is available to control which accounts are listed. Define various criteria to control processing for the user. Criteria includes but is not limited to: general options, ledger specific criteria, processing quarters, database locations, ad hoc queries, and performance statistics. Connect to Global's On-Line Help web page, where users have access to HTML and PDF versions of the Spreadsheet Server User Manual. Not applicable for Lawson databases.
