20 13. 13.1 13.2. Bid Prices The contract shall be for the whole works as described in Sub-Clause 1.1, based on the priced Bill of Quantities submitted by the Bidder. The bidder shall lill in rates and prices and line item total (both in figures and words) for all items of the Works described in the Bill of Quantities alongwith total bid price (both in figures and wordsl. The rates and prices quoted by the bidder shall be fixed for the duration of the Contract and shall not be subject to adjustment on any account (For contracts upto 12 months period). OR The rates and prices quoted by the bidder are subject to adjustment during the performelnce of the Contract in accordance with the provisions 6f Qlarrse 47 of the Conditions of Contract (For contracts more than 12 montfrs period). Currencies of Bid and Payment The unit rates and the prices shall be quoted by the bidder entirely in Indian Rupees. All payments shall be made in Indian Rupees. Bid Validity Bids shall remain valid for a period not less than 120 days after the deadline date for bid submission specified in Clause 20. A bid valid for a shorter period shall be reiected bv the Emplover as non-responsive. In case of discrepancy in bid validity period between that given in the undertaking pursuant to Clause 12.1 (v) and the Form of Bid submitted by the bidder, the latter shall be deemed to strand comeeted in aeeordance with the former and the bidder. has to provide for any additional security that is required. In exceptional circumstances, prior to expiry of tl.e original time limit, the Employer may request that the bidders may extend the period of validity for a specified additional period.
