• To verify operations of power converter systems for different types of loads<br />
• To gain h<strong>and</strong>s on experience on different AC / DC motor drives & it’s protection<br />

• Use of simulation software for analysis of power systems.<br />
• Mapping with PEOs:2,6,8,9<br />

1. Study of 3 Φ VSI (180º or 120º)<br />
2. Study of Chopper fed / Converter fed DC Drive.<br />
3. Study of Stator Voltage Control of IM Drive<br />
4. Power factor improvement technique (SAC or EAC or PWM)<br />
5. Study of VVVF 3 phase IM Drive.<br />
6. Sensing <strong>and</strong> Protection circuits for AC <strong>and</strong> DC Drives<br />
7. Simulations of 3 phase LCC (HCB or FCB or dual Converter).<br />
8. Simulation of 3 phases VSI (180º or 120º) / Simulation of DC/AC drive.<br />
9. Design <strong>and</strong> development of one power electronic control circuit.<br />
