Prerequisites: Knowledge of Basic engineering subjects.<br />

Objectives:<br />

• To evaluate student on the basis of<br />

His / her performance in carrying out the seminar work.<br />

Presentation skill<br />

• Mapping with PEOs:1 to 9<br />

Guidelines for students<br />

• A seminar based on relevant disciplinary or inter disciplinary topic is to be<br />

presented by every c<strong>and</strong>idate during the semester. It consists of Literature<br />

Survey, study of system <strong>and</strong> analysis.<br />

• The selection of the topic should be based on references from magazines,<br />

transactions, reference books <strong>and</strong> other technical literature.<br />

• The approval of the Department Head/ Coordinator prior to<br />

commencement of work <strong>and</strong> presentation is essential.<br />

• The student is expected to produce a report based on the work carried out.<br />

The presentation, report, work done during the term supported by the<br />

documentation, forms the basis of assessment.<br />

Outcomes:<br />

After completion of this course, student will be able to:<br />

• Carry out comparative study of the systems.<br />

• Improve soft skills.<br />

• Prepare <strong>and</strong> present technical seminar.<br />
