(a) The figures should be stated<br />

(i) in the case <strong>of</strong> gem-stones, in carats ;<br />

(ii) in the case <strong>of</strong> gold, silver and other precious metals, in grams;<br />

(iii) in the case <strong>of</strong> alum, amber, asbestos, beryl, graphite, jadestone, stealite, tin-ore, tungsten-ore,<br />

radio active minerals and rare minerals, such as, molybdenite, monazite, pitch blende,<br />

samarskite, tantalite and triplite, and also in case <strong>of</strong> tin, in kilogrammes; and<br />

(iv) in the case <strong>of</strong> clay, limestone, magnesite, marble, phosphetic rock, slate, salt and other stone,<br />

and all metalliferous ores except those referred to above, and also in case <strong>of</strong> other metals, in<br />

tonnes.<br />

(b) If more than one mineralsare raised or metals extracted, separate figures should be given for each one<br />

<strong>of</strong> them.<br />

(c) If the mineral is dressed, processed or treated before despach, the output <strong>of</strong> the dressed, processed or<br />

treated mineral (instead <strong>of</strong> crude ore), as the case may be, should be given].
