have more than 60 exciting interactive
games and exhibits. Including a spinning orb
with flowing crystals and a spooky “shadow
wall” that takes on a life of its own.
Billed as North Wales’s most challenging day
out, Techniquest Glyndŵ r aims to explore
the mysteries of science - through the
medium of big bangs and slippery slime.
For more than 50 years Sharp has been
harnessing the power of the sun. Now this
world leader in photovoltaic technology – or
solar panels to you and me – has opened its
own Solar Centre at Llay.
By exploring five separate zones you can
discover how solar energy could protect the
planet for future generations. You can test
your knowledge with interactive quizzes and
games.
And you can build your own solar toy. After
all, every little helps. If just one per cent of
the earth’s surface was covered with solar
cells, we’d have all the energy we need.
