From this inaugural event, an array of courses and workshops, taught by distinguished teachers and healing practitioners, has been developed. These workshops and courses are a unique opportunity for you to experience some of the many complementary and alternative health and healing practices available today. Hatha Yoga I Understanding Your Dreams For health and serenity, people of all ages have turned to yoga to relieve tension and increase flexibility. Explore in a non-competitive manner how the various poses can bring vitality, comfort, self-healing and well-being. The course will cover warm-ups, sun salutation, standing poses, forward bends, backward bends, inversions, twists, breathing practices, meditation and deep relaxation. Practice the ancient ritual dances of the Tammorriata, a beautiful Neapolitan dance; Pizzica Tarantata, which originated as music therapy to cure the mythical bite of the tarantula; and Ritmo e Danza di San Rocco, a spinning dance.
