Are you interested in upgrading your skills in food service management?<br />

Would you like to become a Food Service Supervisor?<br />

To qualify for the Dietary Managers Evening Program, you must:<br />

1. Have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate.<br />

2. Be currently working in a food service department.<br />

3. Have a registered dietitian who will act as your preceptor.<br />

The program is presented in three modules: fall, winter<br />

<strong>and</strong> spring. Each module runs for 10 weeks <strong>and</strong> includes<br />

40 hours of lecture plus 50 hours of supervised<br />

fieldwork at the work site.<br />

The Pharmacy Technician Program will prepare you to work in a variety<br />

of health care settings, including pharmacies <strong>and</strong> hospitals. It will also<br />

enable you to develop the skills <strong>and</strong> competencies needed to perform<br />

technical work under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.<br />

Medical terminology, prescriptions, drug compounding, conversions, IV<br />

flow <strong>and</strong> dosage calculations will be covered. This course is offered with<br />

Condensed Curriculum International, Inc., which provides textbooks,<br />

materials <strong>and</strong> placement assistance to successful completers of the<br />

program. Students will prepare for the national certification test given<br />

by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Those who pass will<br />

become Certified Technicians. Prerequisite: you must pass a screening<br />

test.<br />

recognized educational credential.<br />
