/ The Water People dwell in a small country,<br />
surrounded by a dyke. They lie partly submerged in<br />
water, for instead of keeping it out, the dyke keeps the<br />
water in. The Water People like it that way. Their peaceful<br />
existence is threatened by the devious scheming<br />
of their King, who hates water and tries to sell out. The<br />
characters and situations in this animated tale are the<br />
products of the director’s imagination, but any resemblance<br />
to legendary characters and events is not entirely<br />
coincidental.<br />
