Jednog zimskog dana mali John Bailey šetao je šumom.<br />
Ruke su mu bile hladne, a kako bi ih zagrijao, zapalio je<br />
stablo. Uskoro je čitavu šumu zahvatio plamen. Odrasli<br />
koji su morali gasiti vatru naljutili su se na njega, a on<br />
se počeo pitati hoće li više ikada imati prijatelja. Njegov<br />
problem rješava Big Tooter, izniman slon s kojim otkriva<br />
kako gasiti požare.<br />

/ One day in winter Little John Bailey is walking<br />
in the forest. His hands are cold and to warm them,<br />
he sets a tree alight. Soon the whole forest is ablaze.<br />
All the grown-ups who have to extinguish the fire are<br />
angry with Little John Bailey and he wonders how he’ll<br />
ever make friends again. His problems are solved when<br />
he meets Big Tooter, a very exceptional elephant and<br />
together they discover how to extinguish fires.<br />
