Sedmogodišnji Nat ne zna čitati, što pojačava njegovo<br />
razočarenje činjenicom da je naslijedio zbirku knjiga<br />
svoje tete Eleanor. Iako je volio slušati Eleanor dok čita,<br />
njegov je izostanak interesa potaknuo roditelje da zbirku<br />
prodaju pohlepnom sakupljaču. Tek kada je zbirka prodana,<br />
Nat otkriva da je biblioteka sadržavala samo prva<br />
izdanja, pa čak i više, da su likovi iz priča oživjeli.<br />
Seven-year-old Nat can’t read, making his inheritance<br />
of Aunt Eleanor’s collection of books immensely disappointing.<br />
Despite his love of having Eleanor read to him,<br />
his disinterest encourages his parents to sell the collection<br />
to a greedy collector. Once sold, Nat discovers that<br />
the library contained only first editions and even more,<br />
that the fictional characters come to life.<br />
Dominique Monféry (1965) studirao je umjetnost na<br />
pariškoj školi CFT Gobelins. Sudjelovao je u animacijskim<br />
ekipama koje su kreirale međunarodno priznate<br />
filmove iz Disneyeve produkcije, poput Zvonara crkve<br />
Notre-Dame (1996), Tarzana (1999) i Atlantis: The Lost<br />
Empire (2001). Destino (2003), film koji je režirao i<br />
animirao, nominiran je za nagradu Oscar u kategoriji<br />
najboljeg kratkog animiranog filma.<br />
Dominique Monféry (1965) studied Art in CFT Gobelins<br />
in Paris. He was part of the animation teams of internationally<br />
renowned films produced by Disney, such as<br />
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Tarzan (1999)<br />
and Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001). Destino (2003),<br />
which he directed and animated, received an Oscar<br />
nomination for Best Animated Short Film.<br />
