Gladys told me about when she and Sadie saw Mrs Bennett in her home in Kalgoorlie<br />

when Mrs Bennett took them off to the photographer. Gladdie stayed with Mrs<br />

Bennett and Mr and Mrs Douglas when in Kalgoorlie, and this was before she went to<br />

Gnowangerup to be Women’s Superintendent at the new Bible College. She said she<br />

was with her when she died of diabetes also the Douglas’. The wongutha came from<br />

everywhere for the funeral, camp people and all.]<br />
