Society invites all to a lecture by Dr.
Hanna Kapustyan on the subject
“Holodomor Materials in Moscow
Archives.” Dr. Kapustyan is a historian
and a professor at the Mykhailo
Ostrohradsky Kremenchuk State
Polytechnic Institute. The lecture will take
place at the society’s building, 63 Fourth
Ave. (between Ninth and 10th streets) at 5

LANSDALE, Pa.: The Presentation of
Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church will
host “A Traditional Ukrainian Dinner.”
Attendees will enjoy generous portions of
tasty home-made Ukrainian ethnic foods:
pyrohy, holubtsi, kovbasa, sauerkraut,
breads, beverages, baked goods and desserts.
Visitors can view displays and demonstrations
of Ukrainian folk arts and
crafts, and purchase Ukrainian folk arts
and crafts: pysanky (Easter eggs), vyshyvanky
(embroidery) and gerdany (beadwork
jewelry). This family-friendly event
will be held at 3-7 p.m. at the church’s
social hall, 1564 Allentown Road,
Lansdale (Towamencin Township), Pa.
Tickets are $10 per person at the door with

written in Preview format, i.e., in a brief paragraph that includes the date, place, type
of event, sponsor, admission, full names of persons and/or organizations involved,
and a phone number to be published for readers who may require additional
information. Items should be no more than 100 words long; longer submissions
are subject to editing. Items not written in Preview format or submitted without all
required information will not be published.
Preview items must be received no later than one week before the desired date of
publication. No information will be taken over the phone. Items will be published
only once, unless otherwise indicated. Please include payment for each time
the item is to appear and indicate date(s) of issue(s) in which the item is to be
published. Also, senders are asked to include the phone number of a person who
may be contacted by The Weekly during daytime hours, as well as their complete
mailing address.
