Product description<br />

The Mitos Sensor Display provides a flexible system for measuring and displaying microscale<br />

flow rate. The Mitos Sensor Display interfaces with flow rate sensors and provides a<br />

USB (to PC) and visual output.<br />

Each Mitos Sensor Display can be used interchangeably with the Mitos Flow Rate<br />

Sensors, the sensors simply attach with a push-click action. There are 6 different sensors<br />

which can interface with the Mitos Sensor Display, 5 Flow Rate Sensors covering different<br />

ranges.<br />

The Mitos Flow Rate Sensors enable fast and accurate measurements of ultra low liquid<br />

flow rates. The high precision thermal sensor technology provides total media isolation<br />

and very low internal volume with no moving parts. All measurement data is fully<br />

calibrated and temperature compensated by means of an internal microcontroller.<br />

Excellent chemical resistance and bio-compatibility are also ensured.<br />

The Mitos Flow Rate Sensors are compatible with the Mitos P-Pump. The Mitos P-Pump<br />

communicates directly with the flow sensors and can log the flow rate data. See future<br />

enhancements.<br />

<strong>Dolomite</strong>’s Mitos Flow Rate Sensors are available in a mixed pack of 3 (Part No.<br />

3200244). Please select the Flow Rate Sensors you require and specify your selection<br />

Mitos Sensor Interface<br />

The Mitos Sensor Interface (Part No. 3200200) provides a cost-effective alternative to the<br />

Mitos Sensor Display featuring a circular multi-pin interface cable for connection to the<br />

Mitos P-Pump range allowing flow rate data to be read by the Mitos P-Pump software.<br />

It can be used with any Mitos Flow Rate Sensor (Part Nos. 3200096 - 3200100) which<br />

simply attach with a push-click action.<br />

All the other features of the Mitos Sensor Interface are the same as for the Mitos Sensor<br />

Display (Part No. 3200095) to provide users with a flexible system for measuring and<br />

micro-scale flow rate.<br />

Using the Mitos Sensor Units with the Mitos P-Pump range<br />

The Mitos Sensor Display and Mitos Flow Rate Sensors are compatible with the Mitos<br />

P-Pump (Part No. 3200016), Mitos P-Pump Remote (Part No. 3200176) and Mitos<br />

P-Pump with 3-way Accessories (Part No. 3200094) for measuring and displaying flow<br />

rates.<br />

The Mitos Flow Rate Sensor simply attaches to the Mitos Sensor Display with a push-click<br />

action. Once connected to a Mitos Flow Rate Sensor, the display can be used as a<br />

standalone device (picture left) or sit on top of the Mitos P-Pump (picture top left).<br />

By connecting the USB lead of the Mitos Sensor Display to the Mitos P-Pump, the display<br />

is powered and the Mitos P-Pump records the flow rates which will be stored in a log file<br />

within the pump together with the pressure control data.<br />

In a similar way the Mitos Sensor Interface can also be connected to the Mitos P-Pump<br />

range to allow “displayless” flow rate data-logging via the Mitos P-Pump software.<br />

Future enhancements<br />

The Flow Rate Sensors will be able to communicate with the Mitos P-Pump and provide<br />

closed loop control of flow rate using the Mitos P-Pump interface.<br />
