Telecommunications and Networking<br />

‣ Keyserved 24 s<strong>of</strong>tware applications to students.<br />

‣ Approximately 21,000 service points provided by Ask 5000 Help Desk.<br />

‣ Supports campus wireless network with near 100% coverage in classrooms, outdoors and student resident halls.<br />

‣ Provide email service to students, staff, applicants, alumni and emeriti.<br />

‣ Expanded ImageNow application, including training and department consultations, to 25 departments/units with 25 departmental<br />

workflows and automated processes.<br />

‣ Maintains Barracuda SPAM appliance for improved filtering – on average blocking 1,000,000 incoming emails per day.<br />

‣ Administer data services on 140 managed nodes with 23,000+ devices.<br />

‣ Coordinated Voice Services for campus including local/long distance, voice mail and wiring.<br />

‣ Administer and support over 140 servers, 90% being virtual servers.<br />

‣ Support over 45 applications in campus laboratories.<br />

‣ Support 18 departmental computer labs.<br />

‣ Manage 999 wireless access points.<br />

‣ Provide support and service needs for e-Scholar Program including asset management, inspections, returns, deployment, loaners,<br />

image creation and management.<br />

‣ Facilitate Mac and PC service and repair for campus.<br />
