Learning and Information Technology (LIT) mission: LIT is UW-<strong>Stout</strong>’s steward <strong>of</strong> technology in support <strong>of</strong> education. We are<br />

committed to providing and maintaining secure, high-quality, reliable, and flexible solutions in alignment with UW-<strong>Stout</strong>’s mission and<br />

vision.<br />

Units within LIT: Enterprise Information Systems (EIS), e-<strong>Stout</strong> Program, Learning Technology Services (LTS), Nakatani Teaching<br />

and Learning Center, Telecommunications and Networking (T and N)<br />

Enterprise Information Services<br />

‣ Replacement <strong>of</strong> all servers for the Oracle/PeopleS<strong>of</strong>t Campus Solutions (Access<strong>Stout</strong>). Including upgrading operating systems to<br />

latest Windows releases and Oracle database upgrade.<br />

‣ Deployed the ATT Campus Guide mobile application for students, staff and public. iPhone, Android and Blackberry platforms with<br />

access to Access<strong>Stout</strong>, D2L, directories, maps, events, sports, laundry availability, <strong>Stout</strong> bus route, admissions, news, myUW,<br />

Shoppes@<strong>Stout</strong>, tuition payment, library, etc.<br />

‣ Developed integration with Hobson’s CRM application to manage admission prospects and applicants.<br />

‣ Redeployed EMS events, calendaring and classroom scheduling application to cover all campus needs including new infrastructure.<br />

Decommissioned AdAstra classroom scheduling as a result.<br />

‣ Decommissioned the Datatel Colleague student information system infrastructure. A copy <strong>of</strong> the database is stored for historical<br />

purposes.<br />
