‣ In 2012, 55% of all faculty were tenured. Specifically, 99% of professors were tenured, 68% of associate professors and 12% of
assistant professors were tenured.
‣ In 2012-13, 26 faculty (42%) who were eligible for promotion were promoted.
‣ Specifically, 5 faculty (22%) who were eligible for promotion to professor were promoted, and 21 faculty (54%) who were eligible for
promotion to associate professor applied were promoted.
‣ Of those who were promoted in 2012-13, 13 were men, 13 were women, 7 were in CAHSS, 7 were in CEHHS, 2 were in COM and 10
in CSTEM.
‣ The average salary for all faculty members increased from 2011-12 to $60,727.
‣ Specifically, the professor salary decreased by 0.8% to $70,194, the associate professor salary increased by 1.4% to $60,187, and the
assistant professor salary increased by 1.8% at $55,265.
