2012-13 Fact Book
The purpose of this 2012-13 University of Wisconsin-Stout fact book is as follows: 1) to provide a register of important facts for the
students, faculty and staff at the university, 2) to provide official data concerning the university, and 3) to serve as a reference book for
persons looking for specific institutional data.
The fact book is divided into five main sections: 1) overview, 2) student data, 3) faculty and staff data, 4) financial data and 5) support
services. These main sections are further divided into a number of sub-sections. Each sub-section of the fact book opens with a series of
bulleted statements that highlight important information from our most current data points, usually the 2012-13 academic year.
Following the highlights are a series of tables and graphs showing trend data going back five years, where the data is available. As new
data is obtained, it will be available on-line at http://www.uwstout.edu/parq/institutional-research.cfm. For your convenience, the
table of contents found on the next pages lists each of the figures that can be found within these sections.
We encourage any suggestions you may have for how this fact book can be improved in future editions. Please contact the office of
