University of Wisconsin-Stout 2012-13 Fact Book Technical Notes 1 Graduation rate figures are reported by the year that freshmen started at UW-Stout, rather than the year that they graduated. Figures include students who started at UW-Stout and graduated at any UW institution. 2 The “graduates employed in field” category is calculated by adding number employed in major and number employed related to major and then dividing by total. Total includes number employed in major, number employed related to major, number employed out of major, number continuing education and number seeking employment. 3 Differences in the faculty and staff headcount for these three charts can be accounted for by the fact that the Faculty & Staff Headcount chart includes data from the October payroll, and the Faculty & Staff by Gender & Minority Status chart & Classified Staff Headcount by Gender chart includes data from the November payroll.
