‣ The Office <strong>of</strong> International Education assists and coordinates international activities throughout the university, including:<br />

o Facilitating student exchange and study abroad programs<br />

o Recruiting and providing support services for international students<br />

o Assisting faculty and staff in international efforts<br />

‣ The Office <strong>of</strong> International Education (OIE) sponsors programming that helps students, faculty and staff broaden their own global<br />

perspectives. Whether you are a UW-<strong>Stout</strong> student interested in study abroad or an international student coming to UW-<strong>Stout</strong>, the<br />

OIE can assist you in accomplishing your international education goals.<br />

‣ In fall 20<strong>12</strong>, UW-<strong>Stout</strong> had 241 international students<br />

from 42 nations. In spring 2013, UW-<strong>Stout</strong> welcomed<br />

50 additional international students. During spring<br />

2013 international student enrollment raised to 255.<br />

abroad that participated in 43 different study abroad<br />

students participated in domestic programs, 24 <strong>of</strong><br />

which participated in the National Student Exchange<br />
