Enrollment Services<br />

Enrollment Services consists <strong>of</strong> three <strong>of</strong>fices; admissions, registration and records and financial aid. The UW-<strong>Stout</strong> Enrollment Services<br />
Mission Statement is to be the premier enrollment services team recruiting, admitting, enrolling, and financially assisting students by:<br />
• Utilizing best practices;<br />
• Using data and feedback to drive decisions;<br />
• Providing quality, efficient and timely service;<br />
• Capitalizing on cutting-edge technology;<br />
• Providing a welcome, inviting and inclusive environment;<br />
• Fostering collaborative partnerships/relationships.<br />
Admissions<br />
The Admissions Office serves as the face <strong>of</strong> the university for prospective students and families. It is located in 2<strong>12</strong> Millennium Hall,<br />
directly south <strong>of</strong> the clock tower (Bowman Hall). The <strong>of</strong>fice provides campus tours, admissions counseling, transfer counseling, serves<br />
as a liaison between prospective students and faculty, and provides general information about the university. In addition the <strong>of</strong>fice works<br />
with International students for both undergraduate admissions and for our English as a Second Language Institute. The <strong>of</strong>fice also houses<br />
the WI Covenant Coordinator position and works with the Youth Options students in the state. In addition the <strong>of</strong>fice hosted 37 group<br />
visits during the year sharing our wonderful campus with a myriad <strong>of</strong> prospective students.<br />
During <strong>2011</strong>-<strong>12</strong> the Admissions Office saw over 7,500 visitors, read 4,754 applications and admitted 3,358 students (freshmen, transfer,<br />
reentry and special applicants) and hosted 45 group visits to campus.<br />
Registration and Records<br />
Registration and Records provides services related to the creation and maintenance <strong>of</strong> academic records supporting the teaching and<br />
learning mission <strong>of</strong> the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Wisconsin</strong>-<strong>Stout</strong>. The <strong>of</strong>fice oversees student enrollment and registration, coordinates course<br />
scheduling and grade submission, and maintains academic transcripts as well as degree audits. The <strong>of</strong>fice also produces diplomas,<br />
