University of Wisconsin-Stout 2012-13 Fact Book ‣ Labor and Employee Relations assists the university community with interpreting, documenting, developing and implementing policies, procedures and mandates that support the university’s mission and act in accordance with federal laws, Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code, Board of Regents’ and UW System Administration policies and policies developed at UW-Stout. This includes taking a leadership role in administering the grievance procedure, discipline, performance evaluations and disability accommodations. ‣ Providing advice and assistance with State and Federal employment law compliance, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Titles VII and IX, and GINA.
