National Organisations Directory The Scottish Executive is responsible for drugs policy, and for providing funding to support a wide range of services in Scotland. The Executive’s Drug Strategy is built on four key themes: tackling the availability of drugs in Scottish communities; treating and rehabilitating those who have developed drug problems; engaging with communities and protecting them from drug-related crime; and, evaluating and informing young people about the risks from drugs. The Strategy is delivered in partnership with Scotland’s 22 Drug Action Teams, and with statutory and voluntary organisations.
