INTRODUCTION<br />
<strong>NMBS</strong> is the most successful buying group in the UK<br />
for Independent Builders, Plumbers, Heating, Roofing,<br />
Hardware and Timber Merchants.<br />
The primary aim of <strong>NMBS</strong> is to enable our members to get the<br />
best possible deal from suppliers by offering them a very cost<br />
effective route to the Independent market place.<br />
We specialise in offering exclusive access to Independents via<br />
centralised sales, marketing and event activities. We also speed<br />
up the invoice-to-payment process, with extensive use of<br />
electronic trading that cuts the time-consuming, labour intensive<br />
process of manually processing invoices and credits.<br />
<strong>NMBS</strong> offers a payment pledge to guarantee the debt and ontime<br />
payment for its members and have developed an exclusive<br />
on-line ‘Report Centre’, that gives both members and suppliers,<br />
24-7 access to on-line accounts information and an automated<br />
query resolution system.<br />
We have also introduced the ‘Merchant Pages’ with the objective to<br />
create a single source of reference for all building product data<br />
throughout the UK, by creating an industry standard output and a<br />
‘one stop’ shop for all merchants and suppliers. The system will<br />
make it easier for suppliers to distribute product and price<br />
information to merchants and make it far easier for merchants to<br />
access and download up-to-date price lists.<br />
It has never been a better time to support the Independent market<br />

recognise the significant benefits and opportunities from working<br />
with us and our Independent Merchant members in what will be<br />
