ACE Champions Balloon Campaign<br />
Once again, ACE Hardware stores across<br />
Montana sold paper balloons in support of Children’s Miracle<br />
Network <strong>Hospital</strong>s during the month of October to raise funds for<br />
<strong>Shodair</strong> Children’s <strong>Hospital</strong>. Instead of the familiar red and yellow<br />
balloons, these were special, featuring Montana’s <strong>2012</strong> Children’s<br />
Miracle Network <strong>Hospital</strong>s Champion, Samantha Faulkner. A total<br />
of 39 stores participated in this year’s ACE Champion Balloon<br />
Campaign.<br />

Miracle Treat Day:<br />
A Blizzard of Support<br />
for Montana Kids<br />
Once again, Dairy Queen stores<br />
all over Montana participated in Miracle Treat Day<br />
on July 26 to benefit the children and programs at<br />
<strong>Shodair</strong> Children’s <strong>Hospital</strong>. Depending on the<br />
store’s location, either 100% of the proceeds of<br />
Blizzard sales or $1.00 per Blizzard sold went to<br />
benefit <strong>Shodair</strong>. This year, 19 locations in 12<br />
towns across the state joined in on the sweetest<br />
Children’s Miracle Network event of the year.<br />
Not only did the seventh annual Miracle Treat Day help <strong>Shodair</strong>’s children<br />
one Blizzard at a time, but in many cases, several Blizzards at a time.<br />
Through generous community supporters, the efforts of numerous volunteers,<br />
and the astounding participation of Dairy Queen owners and staff across<br />
Montana, this year’s Miracle Treat Day did not disappoint.<br />
Employees at several DQ locations across Montana also challenged<br />
themselves to a friendly competition to see who could sell the most Children’s<br />
Miracle Network <strong>Hospital</strong> balloons, many selling every one of them.<br />
Last summer, DQ partners across the state raised nearly $26,450 to benefit<br />
<strong>Shodair</strong> Children’s <strong>Hospital</strong>. Helena’s Prospect Avenue location was proud<br />
to be the #1 location in the state on Miracle Treat Day 2011.<br />
Thank you, Dairy Queen owners, employees, and customers for<br />
making Miracle Treat Day a sweet success for <strong>Shodair</strong>’s kids!<br />
