ProAir stations its own Learjet 31A in Stuttgart
Filderstadt, May 2007
ProAir has stationned a Learjet 31A at Stuttgart Airport. Therefore, the
company is also in possession of a fully owned AOC (Aircraft Operator
Certificate) with the number D-150 EG. ProAir Aviation GmbH has been
founded particularly for this purpose.
The new aircraft has been modified and equipped for the needs of charter
customers in Wichita, Kansas, USA. “The field of business aviation currently
has the biggest potential for economic growth,” states Managing Director
Mr. Elmar Monreal, who adds: “The need for individual business air trips is
increasing in the charter market. This new aircraft allows us to be more
independent of the broker business and more attractive for a larger number
of inquiries.”
Currently, the Learjet 31A is one of the fastest in its class. Besides this, it is
currently the only Learjet based at Stuttgart Airport.
This fast and reliable business jet is perfectly suited for short and medium
distances, and is also ideal for combining two or three business meetings at
different locations on the same day. The following example illustrates the
cost saving and increased efficiency in the charter sector: a scheduled flight
from Stuttgart to Milan costs approximately 5,800 €uros for seven
employees in business class. At 4,900 €uros the private jet will make a
favourable difference for the same number of people. In addition, you
should also consider the time saving due to the location of Milan-Linate
airport, which is closer to the city centre, and the flight schedule that the
customer may individually determine. Beyond this, four adjustable single
leather seats in club formation enable you to conduct a business meeting
during the flight. A small bar with various drinks ensures necessary
refreshment during the flight.
With the foundation of ProAir Aviation GmbH and its own AOC, ProAir has
become an airline company licensed by the Federal Civil Aviation Authority.
It complies with all legal requirements for the operation of commercial air
traffic. With the AOC ProAir is capable of operating its own aircraft and,
particularly in the field of management and sales, to offer an all-round
service: running of the aircraft, own operation and own maintenance. One-
stop-shopping, coupled with excellent service and ten-year experience,
distinguishes ProAir. By summer, another aircraft will be added to the fleet.
As with ProAir Charter Transport GmbH, ProAir Aviation GmbH has its head
office in Filderstadt, with a view of the apron of Stuttgart Airport. The
promotion of the new aircraft occurs through all ProAir establishments in
Great Britain, France, Russia and Switzerland.
The ProAir Group currently employs 25 staff.
