Well its that time again....U-<strong>Seven</strong> is back for its second<br />
issue !<br />
It's been a superb month for the Under 7's with some<br />
amazing results. You can find these and all the SYFC<br />
results (well the ones Lee Burch receives!) at the back of<br />
the mag!<br />

mums, Carol Mckenzie, shes only doing the London<br />

Help a mother out...<br />
Carol Mckenzie is mum to Jacob<br />
Mckenzie of the Under 8's. She's<br />
running the London Marathon in 2015<br />
and is desperate to raise as much<br />
money as she can for the charity she's<br />
running for. Here's what Carol has to<br />
say...<br />
I took the first step to putting my<br />
name into the public ballot to<br />
complete the London Marathon last<br />
year after successfully completing<br />
the London BUPA 10k, getting a little<br />
carried away with fellow Fitcampers.<br />
Once the form was completed online<br />
and sent I completely forgot about<br />
what I had done until about a month<br />
ago when people started mentioning<br />
the date for the ballot results and the<br />
Face Book posts from London Marathon<br />
started to pop up..!<br />
On 1st <strong>October</strong> friends started to get their ballot results through the post,<br />
majority unfortunately received a no but 4 people I know received a yes..! At<br />
this time my booklet was no where to be seen.. With mixed emotions slowly<br />
turning into excitement of the possibility of taking part in this amazing event..<br />
On Thursday 2nd <strong>October</strong> our Fitcampers Leader Gary posted a blog onto our<br />
Face Book Group page about his disappointment of not getting a ballot place...<br />
but he wasn't giving up and was still perusing the chance to run for a charity.<br />
With this I straight away acted on my dream and have been fortunate to have<br />
been accepted for a charity place, MACS (The Micro & Anophthalmic Children's<br />
Society) is an amazing organisation supporting children born without or with<br />
underdeveloped eyes.<br />
Please help me by giving whatever you can. I really, really do apppreciate it :-)<br />

the Under 7's Cobras manager, heres<br />
what Jon had to say ....<br />
U7 - Who are you?<br />
JT - I'm Jonathan Tye.<br />
U7 - How long have you been running a team?<br />
JT - I’ve been managing at Sumners since the start of this<br />
season.<br />
U7 - What's the best thing about youth football?<br />
JT - The best thing is watching children develop game on<br />
game in their understanding of how they want to play football<br />
U7 - If you could give your lads one piece of advice<br />
what would it be?<br />
JT - One piece of advice would be never to put a ceiling on<br />
your learning and be confident to make mistakes as you will<br />
always learn from them.<br />

U7 - What surprises you the most about youth<br />
football?<br />
JT - what surprises me most is the huge size of the youth<br />
footballing community, from kids to parents to coaches. It’s<br />
like one big family x<br />
U7 - If you could sing one song on X Factor, what<br />
would it be?<br />
JT - The song would have to be an 80’s song.....maybe The<br />
Specials Too Much Too Young<br />
U7 - What is the funniest thing that has<br />
happened to you recently?<br />
JT - I was at work when I walked into a lunch table and<br />
almost fell over....in front of about 200 children!!<br />
U7 - If you could trade places with any other<br />
person for a week, famous or not, living or<br />
dead, real or fictional, with whom would it be?<br />
JT - Derek (Del Boy) Trotter!!<br />
