Overview<br />

This counterbalance valve is used to<br />

prevent load drop within a cylinder under<br />

overrunning load conditions and to control<br />

its lowering speed.<br />

Type indication<br />

Features<br />

1. As the spool of the counterbalance valve is<br />

provided with the flow control part and seat part<br />

together, stable brake pressure can be obtained<br />

and at the same the leakage amount is small and<br />

the slipping-down amount of ram can be made<br />

very small.<br />

2. When weight drop (fast feed state) is changed to<br />

pressurization (slow feed state), ram speed<br />

change can be adjusted and smooth<br />

operation can be performed by controlling<br />

spool valve closing speed with variable<br />

throttle.<br />

3. The passage in the casing is composed of<br />

through holes and the flow resistance is small.<br />
