Overview<br />

This balanced piston type pilot operated relief<br />

valve, which is a seat type relief valve,<br />

regulates the highest pressure of the hydraulic<br />

circuit and at the same time prevents overload<br />

of the hydraulic equipment and drive machines<br />

and sets pressure for control of the hydraulic<br />

equipment. The relief valve with unloading<br />

function is used for loading and unloading the<br />

circuit pressure with electrical signals.<br />

Features<br />

1. As this valve has a larger seat diameter than<br />

that of a general balance type relief valve, it<br />

has good responsiveness and flow<br />

resistance when unloaded is small.<br />

2. Pressure override is small.<br />

3. Operation is correct and both<br />

responsiveness and stability are good.<br />

4. The relief valve with unloading function can<br />

perform shockless, smooth unloading if it is<br />

used together with the shock damping<br />

valve (refer to the section of the type<br />

number index “ZNS5”).<br />

5. As this valve adopts an unequal type<br />

plunger, it opens when T port is<br />

pressurized.<br />
