31. Mary <strong>Halpin</strong> (John 2 , <strong>James</strong> 1 ) was born in Ohio in August, 1886. Mary also lived<br />

in Toledo, Ohio with her parents. She was not employed. Mary died in Toledo,<br />

Ohio on April 3, 1918.<br />

32. Annie <strong>Halpin</strong> (Patrick 2 , <strong>James</strong> 1 ) was born in 1877 in Ste. Genevieve County,<br />

Missouri. She died at age eight on September 8, 1885 in Saline Township, Perry<br />

County, Missouri.<br />

33. George Edward <strong>Halpin</strong> (Patrick 2 , <strong>James</strong> 1 ) was born in Missouri on August 30,<br />

1878. He married his wife Lizzie in 1907. At the time <strong>of</strong> his World War I draft<br />

registration he was a farmer living in Clay County, Arkansas. Sometime between<br />

1920 and 1930 they moved to California. In 1930 George and Lizzie lived in<br />

Pasadena, CA where Lizzie was employed as a waitress and George was unemployed.<br />

They do not appear to have had any children.<br />

34. Sarah <strong>Halpin</strong> (Patrick 2 , <strong>James</strong> 1 ) was born in Saline Township, Missouri on<br />

October 1, 1884. As <strong>of</strong> 1900 she was living at home with her parents in Ste.<br />

Genevieve County, Missouri. No later records have yet been found.<br />

35. Charles Patrick <strong>Halpin</strong> (Patrick 2 , <strong>James</strong> 1 ) was born in Missouri on March 28,<br />

1888. He married Dollie G. Fenton in St. Francois County, Missouri on July 19,<br />

1910. Dollie Fenton, born in 1891 in Illinois, was a daughter <strong>of</strong> Bartholomew<br />

Fenton. In 1916 when he registered for the draft he was a farmer in Ste. Genevieve<br />

County, Missouri. Charles died sometime between 1916 and 1920, possibly as a war<br />

casualty although there is no record to document this.<br />

Charles and Dollie had two daughters:<br />

72. i. Beaulah M. <strong>Halpin</strong> (1916 - 2007)<br />

73. ii. Dorothy <strong>Halpin</strong> (1918 - )<br />

36. William Paul <strong>Halpin</strong> (Patrick 2 , <strong>James</strong> 1 ) was born in Missouri August 27, 1896.<br />

He grew up in Ste. Genevieve County, Missouri. He was married to Bertha E. Elders<br />

in Kennett, Missouri on June 27, 1914. Bertha, a daughter <strong>of</strong> William and Julia<br />

Porter Elders, was born in Madison County, Missouri April 13, 1896. In 1920<br />

William and Bertha were living with William’s parents where he assisted his father in<br />

farming. By 1930 they had their own farm in Ste. Genevieve County. William died<br />

on September 22, 1967 in Fredericktown Missouri. He is buried in Marcus Memorial<br />

Cemetery in Fredericktown.<br />

William and Bertha had five children:<br />

75. ii. <strong>Virginia</strong> <strong>Halpin</strong> (1916 - )<br />

76. iii. William Paul <strong>Halpin</strong> (1917 - )<br />
