Yarmouth, Maine’s Haskell-Marston Camp<br />

56’s Br. Steve Bunker was awarded <strong>the</strong> 2010<br />

<strong>War</strong>ren Randall Award by outgoing<br />

Chamberlain <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>War</strong> Roundtable president<br />

Jay Stencil. The award is given annually to a<br />

person who has made significant contributions<br />

to <strong>the</strong> preservation, promotion or documentation<br />

<strong>of</strong> Maine’s <strong>Civil</strong> <strong>War</strong> heritage.<br />

In 2010, <strong>the</strong> SUVCW has 6,349 Bro<strong>the</strong>rs in Good Standing. This total represents 5,316 Members, 12 Real <strong>Sons</strong>, 337<br />

Life Members, 3 Honorary Members, and 560 Associates. The total reflects an increase <strong>of</strong> 152 from 2009 for a .96% gain.<br />

Additionally, <strong>the</strong>re are 120 Juniors and 4 Junior Associates. There are 265 Camps in 28 Departments, 4 Camps-at-Large<br />

(NMAL). (The NMAL is composed <strong>of</strong> Bro<strong>the</strong>rs, who live in a state that’s not currently administered by a Department.)<br />
