Overview<br />
The Micro Droplet Systems are built around <strong>Dolomite</strong>’s industry leading pumps,<br />
connectors and chips. They provide a complete solution for the generation of<br />
monodispersed droplets in the size range 20 – 250µm. <strong>Dolomite</strong> also provides a range of<br />
flow accessories for use with the Micro Droplet Systems for quick set-up and<br />
experimentation.<br />
Droplet System Reagent Kit (Part No. 3200048)<br />
The Droplet System Reagent Kit contains a range of liquids for initial droplet<br />
demonstrations with a Droplet System. This provides users with the capability to start<br />
making droplets of oil-in-water or water-in-oil immediately. The reagent kit also contains<br />
two commonly used surfactants to increase droplet stability and chip cleaning fluid.<br />

Custom Flow Resistor Kit (Part No. 3200049)<br />
The Custom Flow Resistor Kit is designed for use with the Pressure-based Droplet Starter<br />
System. With the tools provided, flow resistors of the required length can be made from<br />
1.6mm (1/16”) OD tubing. This enables the user to set the desired flow rate ratio between<br />
the organic phase and the aqueous phase without independent pressure control of each<br />
phase. The additional benefit of flow resistors is that they maximize the flow rate range of<br />
the Mitos P-Pump and prevent flow rate instability when using fluids of different<br />
viscosities. The Custom Flow Resistor Kit contains high tolerance FEP tubing with 100 µm<br />
microbore and the required fittings to connect into the droplet system.<br />
