4-6 Configuring Your <strong>Very</strong> <strong>High</strong> <strong>Speed</strong> <strong>Counter</strong> <strong>Module</strong><br />
To configure your module,<br />
select Configuration and<br />
modify the parameters as<br />
desired for your application.<br />
When complete, download to<br />
your module by clicking on the<br />
Download to Device button.<br />
You can download each<br />
change as you make it using<br />
“Single,” or download all your<br />
changes using “All.”<br />
Click here when finished.<br />
Checking I/O Status and<br />
Viewing/Editing the EDS<br />
File<br />
You can view the I/O defaults setup, and the EDS file by clicking on<br />
the appropriate tab.<br />
Click on the I/O Defaults tab to display<br />
the default characteristics for this<br />
module.<br />
This screen shows the input/output<br />
defaults for the four modes. These<br />
are:<br />
Strobe<br />
Polled<br />
Change of state and<br />
Cyclic<br />
