INTRODUCTION<br />

This guide has been written for conservatory installers using <strong>Ultraframe</strong> roofing systems.<br />

The aim of this guide is to:<br />

A) Act as a training aid for newly appointed surveyors<br />

B) Act as a reference guide for existing surveyors<br />

The objectives of this guide are that all surveyors will be able to:<br />

A) Professionally conduct an on-site survey<br />

B) Design and draw all roofs, frames, cill and base details<br />

C) Translate all dimensions taken into manufacturing sizes<br />

D) Confirm all details are to the satisfaction of the customer<br />

E) Demonstrate a knowledge of planning permission & building regulations<br />

It is recognised that basework construction methods vary in different areas of the country and<br />

this guide may need to be adapted to suit your own on-site requirements.<br />

This surveyors guide must be read in conjunction with the UK Structural Design <strong>Guide</strong><br />

(Electronic Version).<br />
