The basis of VAROCOM ® <strong>nurse</strong> <strong>call</strong> <strong>system</strong>s <strong>for</strong>m the <strong>requirements</strong> resulting from the<br />
practical experience in nursing homes, the minimum building regulations <strong>for</strong> nursing<br />
homes (Heimmindestbauverordnung), the DIN VDE 0834 and the directives of the ZVEI<br />
(German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association).<br />
Nurse Call Systems of the brand VAROCOM ® are innovative <strong>system</strong> solutions <strong>for</strong> helping<br />
and protecting. VAROCOM ® Nurse Call Systems stand <strong>for</strong> an effective and efficient<br />
communication between patient and care personnel.<br />
Individual <strong>system</strong> solutions offer an optimal configuration of any <strong>system</strong> according to the<br />
customer’s needs. VAROCOM ® <strong>nurse</strong> <strong>call</strong> <strong>system</strong>s can support the care in an optimal<br />
way by the combination with DECT and Paging Systems as well as speech communication<br />
and multimedia functions.<br />
The easy installation of VAROCOM ® <strong>nurse</strong> <strong>call</strong> <strong>system</strong>s is realized by bus or star wiring.<br />
The possibility of combining both variants enables a changeover or extension of existent<br />
<strong>system</strong>s.<br />
Self-monitoring and <strong>call</strong> repetition<br />
The VAROCOM ® <strong>nurse</strong> <strong>call</strong> and communications <strong>system</strong> monitors itself permanently and<br />
signalizes immediately a <strong>system</strong> failure (e.g. mains failure or cable break).<br />
In case of a mains failure the <strong>system</strong> keeps working <strong>for</strong> up to two hours (emergency<br />
batteries), depending on the emerging <strong>call</strong>s.<br />
If a pending <strong>call</strong> should not be “treated” after a predefined time (with presence or quit) a <strong>call</strong><br />
repetition is sent out automati<strong>call</strong>y.<br />
After the third <strong>call</strong> repetition an alarm is released because of time-out.<br />
The time intervals of the <strong>call</strong> repetition are freely settable.<br />
With the <strong>call</strong> <strong>system</strong> with Paging or DECT <strong>system</strong>, a logging and saving of all <strong>call</strong> events,<br />
their chronological progress and the addressed pager / DECT phone is provided.<br />
