These objectives ensure a high transmission rate of ultraviolet wavelengths down to 340 nm for fluorochromes like<br />

indo-1, fura-2, and fluor-3. Also, these objectives have improved signal-to-noise ratios (S/N) for short wavelengths and<br />

have high N.A., making the fluorescence images they produce significantly sharper and brighter.<br />
