since the founding of the company in
2000. KJUS is expanding its position as
market leader for premium ski clothing
further. KJUS is betting on innovation,

This includes use of water-repellent
QUIXDOWN and optimization of the
KJUS Lightweight Systems, which sets
a new standard for the lightness of ski
jackets.
Long lasting partnerships with material
producers such as schoeller ® and
Toray have resulted in this year's KJUS
Special Edition – developed exclusively
in Switzerland and crafted in European
high-quality workmanship.
The ski collection is based on the needs
of customers to experience nature and
freedom. This results in new demands

KJUS Special Edition embodies premium

and understatement. The collection
was designed exclusively in
Switzerland with the passion of KJUS
and the technical skills of schoeller ® .
Production was carried out in European
high-quality workmanship and
with the most modern processing
techniques.
The jacquard design of the ladies lava
Jacket deserves special attention. Its
fabric was developed and produced
exclusively for KJUS by schoeller ® in
Ladies Lava Jacket Ladies Helium Jacket
Switzerland. The men lK down Jacket
and pants are both made of the finest
materials such as KJUS premium wool
and premium down. The 4-way stretch
material produced in Switzerland and
the innovative Schoeller ® c_change
membrane provide maximum comfort
and protection against the elements.
The jackets, vests and pants of the
Special Edition are limited to 500 pieces
worldwide. Each of these products
was developed with a love of detail and
sets a new standard: The KJUS standard.
KJUS looKS to the FUtUre: lab
The LAB line represents the foundation
of innovation. New technologies
and ideas are developed and tested in
collaboration with athletes to determine
the future of ski clothing.
Material intelligence such as the
KJUS hybrid insulation concept and
the KJUS lightweight system are
keywords in the fight for every gram.
Functionality is developed further,
weight reduced and heat retention optimized
with novelties such as the men
rapid heat vest, the ladies helium
Jacket and the torrid down hoody.

The design is clearly based on the
function, characterized by a futuristic
approach. The LAB line embodies
state-of-the-art technology, but KJUS
only considers this an intermediate
step on the way to the perfect ski jacket.
Following the successful launch
of the men helium Jacket, KJUS is
presenting the ladies helium Jacket
for the winter 12/13.
At only 888 grams, they are the lightest
fully featured ski jackets and embody
the philosophy of continual further development
of material and function.

KJUS uses down with system in ski
jackets, as an insulation layer and in
down gloves. Down is the insulation
material with the best heat retention
values and consequently fulfills the
needs of passionate athletes at low
temperatures.

KJUS uses premium down in its inhouse
developed KJUS hybrid insulation
concept, which can be found in the
new ladies Savvy down Jacket. This
insulation system does justice to the
special need of women for more heat
retention and at the same time enables
a distinctly feminine fit.
QUiXdown
Moisture will no longer be able to
bother down in the future. Once it
was wet, down lost its insulating
properties. However, the new QUIX-
DOWN maintains the advantages of
natural down and adds the benefits
of water-resistance of synthetic insulation
materials. Each individual,
small down feather is waterproofed in
QUIXDOWN.
This innovative down is used in the
KJUS Performance insulation layer of
the men torrid down hoody.
In addition to the function of the down
there is another highlight: its color.
Transparent hoodies such as the
