Norman Rockwell Museum is the perfect year-round
gathering place, whatever the occasion.
Nestled in the enchanting Berkshire Hills
of Western Massachusetts, the Norman
Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge is a
classic New England-style structure set
on a grand 36-acre-estate overlooking the
Housatonic River. Here, social occasions
seamlessly blend warmth, culture, and
history in a relaxing setting.
Norman Rockwell Museum holds the
world’s largest and most significant
collection of works by Norman Rockwell,
including more than 7oo paintings,
drawings, and studies, and an archive of
more than 15o,ooo photographs, letters,
and materials. The Museum’s mission is
to promote art appreciation, education,
and engagement in visual communication
through the art of Norman Rockwell and
other outstanding illustrators.
By hosting a gathering at this remarkable
site, your guests will have the unique
opportunity to enjoy the Museum’s ten
spacious galleries, filled with Rockwell’s
iconic images. The Museum lobby
creates a dramatic and welcoming space
for evening events of up to 125 people.
A 2,4oo-square-foot covered slate terrace
overlooking a pastoral landscape is
an ideal place for festive events in the
spring, summer, and autumn.
When a more intimate environment is
desired, Linwood House, an exquisite
1859 historic home located on the
Museum property, is perfect for smaller
gatherings of 1o to 4o people.
With a choice of four beautifully
appointed rooms, guests can mingle in
an authentic Berkshire “cottage.”

A very special place for your special event.
The Museum’s gracious lawns and stately trees provide
an elegant setting for tented events of up to 3oo people.
Rockwell’s Stockbridge studio, open from May through
October, is located on the Museum’s grounds and
gives visitors a rare glimpse into the workshop in which
Rockwell turned inspiration into classic paintings.

Who May Host An Event
A Norman Rockwell Museum
membership is required to host a
private function. Business Members
and other high-level donors receive
special discounts to acknowledge their
commitments to the Museum’s mission.
